TURNKEY SOLUTIONS

Zodiac Hurricane have developed various “turnkey” RIBs based on historical contract definitions specified over the past 30 years. Turnkey configurations are standardized and pre-defined, competitively priced, and faster to build.

The hull can be made from aluminum or fiberglass, inboard or outboard propulsion system, propeller or jet drives. All collars are removable for easy maintenance, available as conventional round shape, D-shape, hybrid tube, or Durarib™ foam collar.

Our “turnkey” solutions are available in various mission specific configurations meeting the most common needs of Military and Professional users.

COMMANDO CONFIGURATION

• The hull design and versatile seating arrangement combined with the specific commando equipment and low radar signature provide superior seaworthiness and high-performance.

  The shock mitigation capability and high maneuverability allow operators to navigate reliably in a hostile maritime environment.

SEARCH AND RESCUE CONFIGURATION

• Deep V hull, shock mitigating seats, dive door for easy MOB recovery, and self-righting capacity provide stability, maneuverability and safety for SAR missions, ship or shore based.

LAW ENFORCEMENT CONFIGURATION

• Stand-up consoles and T-tops offer crew protection while good buoyancy (inflatable or Durarib™ foam tube) ensures seaworthiness and hull protection to operate in a variety of police and coast guard missions such as: fast interception, harbour security, customs controls,...

CABIN CONFIGURATION

• Zodiac Hurricane™ cabin boats are designed to accommodate a crew of 2 to 6 persons. Shock mitigation cabins and seats are made to reduce crew fatigue and injuries.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPEMENT

All Zodiac Hurricane™ boats can be built according to the relevant EU, ABYC, USCG, SOLAS, etc. as well as other similar standards. Our company is also proud to be ISO 9001:2015, CSA W47.2 Div2 and Div3 certified, which requires that we maintain a strict program of Quality Assurance and Controls.

MACH II HULL
A leap forward in high-speed hull design; the Zodiac Hurricane™ MACH II (Military Air Channeled Hull II) is designed to offer a high speed, fully versatile platform that is at ease in all activities and all sea conditions.

THE ADVANTAGES :

Less fuel required to meet the same range capability. Less fuel = less weight = improved acceleration.

Reduced pitching motion provides a more stable working platform and reduced impacts in rough water.

Less power required to meet speed requirements, resulting in lower initial and operating costs and greater propulsion system reliability.

Reduced resistance results in smaller planing hump and easier to stay on plane in 17 – 20 knot speed range.

MACH II HULL AVAILABLE IN :

Fiberglass: Hand laid-up GRP hulls reinforced with Isophthalic or Vinyl Ester resin. Infusion or fibre material are also available.

Aluminum: Designs are parametric modeling, machine-cut digitally and constructed by certified personnel, as for Zodiac Hurricane 3D models.

HYBRID SHAPE COLLAR
Round section collar on the 1st 1/3 at bow : boarding fendering + seaworthy behavior.

A D-shape section collar on the Aft 2/3rd to maximize deck width.
